Name Fatso generates business names and slogans. You do not need an account and we do not ask who you are. This page explains the small amount of data that does pass through the site, why, and what you can tell us to do about it.

What we collect
What you type into a generator
The keyword or description you enter is sent to our servers and to the AI service that produces the names, so that it can answer. We keep these entries to see which topics people ask for, which is how we decide what to write about next. They are not linked to a name, an email address or an account, because we hold none of those for you.
Your email address, only if you give it
Two places on the site ask for an email address: the form that sends your generated results to you, and the newsletter sign-up. We use it for the thing you asked for and nothing else. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete the address at any time by writing to the address above.
Technical information about your visit
Like any website, our servers record the pages requested, the rough time, the browser and the IP address the request came from. This is how we keep the site up and how we tell a real visitor from an automated one.
Cookies and measurement
A handful of cookies keep the generators working. Others, which you control, let us measure how the site is used. Every single one is listed with its purpose and lifetime on our Cookie Policy page, where you can also change your choices.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data. It reaches other companies only where they do a specific job for us or for you:
- The AI provider that generates the names and slogans, which receives the keyword you typed.
- Our hosting and email delivery providers, which handle the site and any message you asked us to send.
- Analytics and advertising services, but only in the categories you allowed. Decline them and nothing is sent.
- Partners we recommend, when you choose to click through to one. At that point you are on their site under their own privacy policy, and we are told only that a click came from us.
Some of these providers are outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, the transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or on an adequacy decision for the country concerned.
How long we keep it
Generator entries are kept while they are still useful for deciding what to publish. Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then discarded. Cookie lifetimes are listed individually on the Cookie Policy page.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent you gave earlier. Withdrawing consent for cookies takes one click on the Cookie Policy page. For anything else, write to [email protected] and we will answer within one month.
You can also complain to your national data protection authority if you think we have handled your data badly. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Children
The site is meant for people starting a business and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date at the top. If a change affects what we do with data you already gave us, we will ask again rather than assume the old answer still applies.
